This is the most common financial scam targeting our clients today. It starts with a phone call about a 'Subscription Refund'.
How The Attack Works
- Remote Access: They ask you to install AnyDesk.
- HTML Manipulation: They use 'Inspect Element' to visually change your balance.
- The Guilt Trip: They claim they 'accidentally' refunded too much.
Immediate Action
Hard Shutdown your PC immediately (Hold power button for 10s). Call your bank from a different phone.
